Did you know that Mother's Day is celebrated on different days and dates around the world?

In the UK and Ireland, Mother's Day or Mothering Sunday falls on the fourth Sunday in Lent. In 2011, that is today, April 3.

However, the United States celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday in May. In 2011, the date for Mother's Day is Sunday, May 8.
